Hot Weather Policy

On days of extreme heat forecast to be 34 degrees or higher, Blue Dirt shuttles and hire bikes will change operation times to a hot weather timetable. This will involve shuttles and bike hires starting at 8:00am and concluding at 2:00pm. This is for the safety of riders and our staff. If the forecast is for a day to be above 34 degrees 48hrs before, we will enact the 'Hot Weather Policy'.   Our Dead Sailor store will also operate on the same hot weather policy and will open and close at the same times as shuttles 8:00-2:00pm. Any hire bikes on hot weather policy days will be available during these times only and will need to be returned by 1:45pm.

SIZING RECOMMENDATION: These figures are a rough guide only. Rider proportions, riding style, and personal preferences all factor in choosing the correct bike size. Rocky Mountain always recommends test riding and professional bike fitting at an authorized dealer.
